Reminiscences of Jane Anderson, which encompass the three generations of the family preceding her, and include some comments by her daughter, Emily Anderson. Her great-grandfather Peter Cool arrived in Minneapolis about 1897 and was associated with the Linden Hills Congregational Church; her maternal grandfather, Harry Alonzo Cool, was a salesman and magician, and was married to Alice Belle Mertz Cool, who is alleged to have been the first woman in Minneapolis to learn to drive an automobile.
